FRANCISCO ARCELLANA

FRANCISCO arcellana, is a filipino writer, poet, essayist, critic, journalist, and a teacher francisco arcellana was born on September 6, 1916. arcellana already ambition to become a writer during his years  in the elementary and also his actual writing, however started became a member of  THE TORRES TORCH organization during his high school years .Arcellana Grande  continued writing in various school papers at the University of the Philippines Diliman  and he also received a rocket-feller granted  and became a followerin creative writing a University of  lowa  and bread loaf's writers conference from 1956-1957.And also he considered  an important progenitor of the modern Filipino short story in English. Arcellana was pioneered the development of the history of the short story as a lyrical prose-poetic form within Filipino literature.His work are now often taught in tertiary level syllabi  in the Philippines. Many of his works were translated in Tagalog, Malaysian, Russian , Italian and German .And arcellana got won 2nd place in 1951 Don Carlos, ,Palanca , memorial awards for literature with his short story "the flowers of may" and Francisco Arcellana had many accomplishment on his life  i want to become francisco arcellana one day but not in like a Filipino writer but being a successful man own  my life because i want to be happily ever after.and also the family of  Francisco arcellana was so very successful nowadays and Francisco Arcellana died in 2002 .As a national hero on libingan ng mga bayani
